WATCH: What kids should do during emergencies

Save the Children ask Holy, a 6th grader, for advice on what kids should do in case emergencies. Holy is among the students we trained on disaster preparedness.

Type: Video

What should children do in case a disaster strikes? Here’s what Holy has to say. We first met Holy in Iloilo during our workshop on climate change and disaster preparedness. The 12-year-old girl is among the several students we trained. Holy and her fellow trainees then share their skills and knowledge with the rest of their school. We call them “BERT” or the “Batang Empowered and Resilient Team.” Having survived a typhoon herself, Holy has sound advice for her fellow youth.
