Super Typhoon Carina: Every Support Counts.
While many have resumed normal life after Super Typhoon Carina (Gaemi) and the southwest monsoon, the situation remains critical. Super typhoon Carina's aftermath continues to affect over 1.7 million families or 6.3 million people, especially children. The typhoon caused extensive damage to homes, displaced families, disrupted essential services, and interrupted the education of countless children. Children and their families still need your support to rebuild and recover.

Safe Back-to-School
Save the Children believes every child deserves an education. Our Safe Back-to-School project supports the learning needs of our partner communities with back-to-school kits.From pencils to crayons to raincoats, we worked with the children from the Bangsamoro region to create our 2023 Safe Back-to-School kits!
To make the project even more locally-driven, artist weavers from our Marawi-based economic hub partner also provided design support for the school bags for our children.
